U.S blocks Arab from leading UN mission

U.S Ambassador to UN Nikki Haley prevents appointment of Salam Fayyad to lead a political mission to Libya; "For too long the UN has been unfairly biased in favor of the PA to the detriment of our allies in Israel"- says Haley. "This is the beginning of a new era at the UN, an era where the U.S stands firmly behind Israel against any and all attempts to harm the Jewish State,"

Dune Medical Devices has developed an instrument to help women with breast cancer avoid undergoing dreaded follow-up surgery to remove residual cancer cells after a tumor is removed. The MarginProbe System enables to better identify whether the tissue excised during the lumpectomy has Positive margins; In 5 minutes, within the operating room, surgeons can now have immediate information about the presence of cancer cells on the margins of the tumor. MarginProbe, which checks tumor’s edges while lumpectomy patient is still on operating table, is already in use in over 100 U.S hospitals.

Wise Plant Analysis provides health benefits

智能植物分析法

A new method of plant analysis, developed at Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot by Dr. Nir Shahaf and  Professor Asaph Aharoni, has identified healthful antioxidants in tomato skins. The new method reveals that biologically active plant substances typically associated with particular plant species – including those providing health benefits – are much more prevalent across the plant kingdom than was previously thought. Using these new tools, the scientists identified more than 20 metabolites that had never before been reported in tomatoes, including certain antioxidants in the skin.

New hotels boost Jerusalem tourism

Jerusalem gained 1,700 new hotel rooms in 2015-2016, and 5,000 more will be added over the next 5 years - rooms that have already been approved and channeled to specific developers.

Digging Tel-Aviv light-rail tunnels

4 months ahead of schedule, the Tel Aviv's Light Rail's tunnels begin to be dug; The 12 kilometers of tunnel (30 meters underground) will be dug with eight TBMs (Tunnel Boring Machine) for the Red Line in Bnei Brak, Ramat Gan and Tel Aviv. The digging begins under the Ayalon Highway towards the stations on Arlozorov, Shaul Hamelech, Yehudit and Carlibach Streets.

特拉维夫计划提前4个月开始建设新隧道；此次隧道长12公里（深地下30米）此次工程将动用八台TBM（隧道掘进机）在伯尼布莱克的红线，拉马特甘和特拉维夫区域挖掘。挖掘工程将从arlozorov Ayalon高速公路下，Shaul Hamelech站，和carlibach Yehudit街道开始。

"we will extend the line up to the Old City, near the Western Wall where there will be another underground rail station.
